Meera's
design philosophy is to begin a project with emphasis on
interior space planning and solving the clients' spacial needs. She also believes it is equally important to establish
the decorative and design elements which determine the ambiance
and aesthetic mood of a space. Lighting for the interior is
paramount for a successful project, an area in which Meera takes
special interest. "A successful project comes from a
partnership between client and designer."

Meera
graduated with honors from Dawson College, Montreal, Department
of Interior Architecture & Design in 1975. She began her
career with Arcop & Associates, Architects in Montreal where
she had an integral role in the design of such projects as the
Public Service Commission Building in Ottawa, Ontario. In 1981
Meera founded Intarch Design Associates where her experience has
included large and small corporate facilities, banks, retail
facilities, restaurants and residential projects.

Meera
is certified by the National Council for Interior Design
Qualifications (NCIDQ 1980), a Member of the American Society of
Interior Designers and a Professional affiliate of the East Bay
Chapter of The American Institute of Architects. Her designs
have been featured in several publications including
"Designer", "Colorado Homes" and
"Lifestyles" magazines. Project highlights include
such clients as: Pacific Bell, Mt Diablo National Bank, Wells
Fargo Bank, Media Vision Technology, and the Contra Costa County
