Intarch was retained to design an extension to the Heller residence and add a new kitchen area. The existing kitchen space was converted into a family room. The master bathroom was remodeled and increased in size in order to provide a Jacuzzi and steam bath. The Kitchen addition was designed with a cathedral ceiling, thus providing a spacious feeling. The kitchen is lit by abundant light from the track lighting and florescent strip fixtures above the cabinets. The placement of the sink, refrigerator, and oven at an angle in the three corners of the room provides a functional layout and adds interest to the floor plan. The granite floor complements the white washed paneled oak kitchen cabinet doors and the island slate countertop.
